Terms of Service

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This is a starting-template document and not legal advice. It will be reviewed by counsel before any dispute. By using lastplayed.io you accept these terms as written.

1. The service

lastplayed.io ("we", "us", the "Service") connects to a music account you authorize — such as Plex or Apple Music — ingests your listening history, and lets you publish a public profile page summarizing what you listen to. You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with us and are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher).

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials with the upstream provider secure. We never receive your provider password. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

3. Your content

Your profile — your chosen handle, display name, and the listening data and artwork surfaced from your provider — is your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service, including generating shareable preview images. You represent that you have the rights to publish what you publish. You remain responsible for it.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits illegal, abusive, harassing, and impersonating content among other things. Violating it is a breach of these Terms.

5. Payments

Claiming an account is free. Publishing a public profile requires a one-time payment processed by our payment provider. Fees are stated at checkout. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once your profile is published.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, hide, or remove any profile, and suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, exposes us or others to legal risk, or is required by law. Where we are legally obligated to preserve material (for example, suspected child sexual abuse material under 18 U.S.C. §2258A), we will preserve and report it before removal, and we will not return it to you.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
